Property records. When and where!

The Moonlight as a IT partner for Auto Informa collaborated intrinsically to the development of application-Market Dealer  that allows its users to analyze data from property records.

This project enabled Moonlight, to work with a lot of information, a situation which proved profitable to bet on using Oracle Database.

Taking as a starting point a local application created in Access, and pre defined tables for members of AutoInforma, Moonlight has developed a format that would enable greater flexibility in terms of testing and accessibility of information.

A cross-analysis of available data by the Official Auto Registration Institution, enables Autoinforma to make available online customizable frameworks that enable a study of geographical and temporal registered vehicles in Portugal. Thus all data contained in the DUA (Single Car Document), Brand, Model, Vehicle Type, Age, Type of Record, Owner Type and ZIP code for registration, are likely to create analysis reports, to assess percentages and distribution market.

A great evolution to the original project, was to make a distribution of records assignable to Rent-a-Car’s and LMA’s locations, so these records do not influence the overall market value.
