The technological contribution to reduce CO2 emissions in the automotive industry.

Regulation (EC) No 443/2009 of the European Parliament and Council, which sets performance standards for emissions from new passenger cars as part of the Community’s integrated approach to reduce CO2 emissions from cars.

Moonlight designed, developed and implemented, with our partner ACAP a web based application, where all data about the consumption of CO2 from new cars in Portugal is inserted for subsequent public consultation to consumers and dealers.

The application also provides labels defined by Law No. 304/2001 of 26 November, which establishes that all points of sale of new passenger cars must place, in a visible, near or in each exposed vehicle a label or information notice concerning the fuel economy and CO2 emissions for that vehicle.
